This weekend I was able to get some sun for the first time since my honeymoon last September (on a beach very like this one). Of course, this means that this morning my arms and shoulders are a tender, unlovely red, but I have faith they'll mellow out into a light tan that'll get me closer to BW's naturally dark(er) skin. I kind of knew what was happening and went for a burn anyway, since I'm probably not going to be pool-side again any time soon. I'm just happy to have spent the day in an innertube. And yes, I know I'll be wrinkly when I'm old.
