I have a tendency to get overwhelmed with life, and sometimes it helps to step back and think happy thoughts. I've been compiling a "like list" off and on for nearly ten years now-- things that make life worth waking up for, whether big or small. Refocusing on those things helps me brush off office gossip, a bad hair day, or being told by my mother that I'm getting fat. Today I'm glad it's Friday, that March is over, and that I'm going to see my new favorite movie again tomorrow. Here's a little like list to kick off the weekend with happy thoughts.

4. being able to leave my coat in the closet

6. dreaming up pranks for April Fools’ Day
